Already 20 year ago we talked about compatibility, as ”subdomain” of vehicle safety, this was when the automotive industry started to crash Mercedes S-Classes with Smarts.

And for a long time experts thought this is a perspective wide enough to describe the diversity in the traffic of these days.

Then, nobody could even imagine which multitude we would face 20 years later.

Now we see a lot more bicycles in the city, cargobikes, scooters, extreme big and heavy E-SUVs, Maybachs versus Opel Adam, XXL trucks, autonomous shuttles, ...

And safety is only one category in which one should observe the multitude and complexity thereof.

The Advanced MoveAbility Institute and its predecessor AtTrack started research in this field around 2005  with the intention of a better world at least in the frame of worldwide traffic. Therefore it expanded consequently out of the tight frame of the automotive traffic, starting to think in superseding mobility systems.

One in  year we will bring together the protagonists and the related industry to cross talk through the wide field of unresolved MoveAbility questions, with the intention to help people into a better world of movement.
